Space Empire Civ Quest

ID:xJFDMpj+ No.1598509 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
The war was a tragedy. The war should have never happened. The war was inevitable. It's been four years since the Citadel Corporations fought the Monarchists, and everyone lost. There is no central authority, only a thousand factions vying for power. Choose your side, manage your resources, and claim your place in the vacuum of power and space.

Been playing some civ quests, now I'd like to run one in space. 4 players, four empires listed below. Pick one and throw on a trip, this one's gonna last about 5 days.

House Willhiem
>They fought to defend their lineage's hegemony over the quadrant, and for their efforts the entire royal family was killed. The remaining Wil' forces descended into civil war, with Generals and Admirals fighting each other for the scraps of the Willhiem Empire. But something happened. The gene seed of the princess, thought to be lost forever, has been found by one of the Generals. With a legitimate claim to the throne, can this general reunify the Willhiem Empire?

Play this faction if
>You like Zeon, Fascist ascetics, Kraut Space Magic (they're fucking germans in space okay?)
>You're a monarchists

The Tang Shogunate
>This great Empire fought alongside Baron Willhiem to annihilate the Citadel Corporations, but sued for peace after the Emperor and his family was killed by Tang Equalist forces. The emperor's daughter, Princess Lili, is the only survivor of the royal line, and must now defend her throne from threats both outside and within.

Play this factions if
>You want to play Chinese court politics in space, but with samurai too cause why not
>You're a weaboo

Black Company Quest #28

!le88nKe/2I ID:GiQD61PI No.1602845 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
<span class="mu-i">"Black Hearts. Cold Steel. Dark Deeds."
These are the words of the Black Company, the infamous band of mercenaries that has been on one side or the other of every major conflict on the continent since its founding.
The Company has seldom cared who they fight for or the cause so long as they are paid, and paid well, when the killing work is done. Though they may be considered by some to be little more than glorified brigands, it cannot be said that the Black Company is not good at what they do.

Recently the Company has taken up a contract with a new employer, one more powerful than any that have come before. An employer with endless ambition, as well as the means and lack of moral scruples needed to pursue it. An employer that pays well...

Heavenly Child Quest #10

!ccZZL8vQ8M ID:oo+MqKz0 No.1604426 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
<span class="mu-i">Previously... Miho Tsukada, the Heavenly Child was drawn deeper into the Sentinels and their shadowy organisation. When an encounter with the sinister Crow led to a painful and humiliating defeat, the Heavenly Child was left in a bad way. The desire for revenge was strong, but she sought a more noble path. In meeting with the Sentinels, and their mysterious Council of Twelve, the seeds of a more stable partnership were planted. When a new piece enters the game, though, how will the board change?
>Previous thread:

You're not sure how, or even why, but you managed to catch the last train out of Ark City. Even knowing that you would be stranded until morning, you automatically climbed onboard, paid for your ticket, and sank into the first empty seat you could find – and there were plenty to choose from. Tucked under your arm, the urn of Zakuro's ashes was a small and almost insignificant weight.

Calling it an urn, though, that would be stretching the point. It's a thin metal cylinder, the sort that once held a small, inexpensive drone – a child's toy, and the faded stickers that still clung to the metal only emphasise that. From the way Maika hesitated before handing it over, you have to wonder what it meant to her. Fond memories, perhaps?

Not fond enough to stop her from using the cylinder as a makeshift funeral urn, apparently. Either way, you prop that strange old relic up on the seat next to you and doze for a while, letting the hum of the train's engines lull you to sleep.

Your dreams are strange things, haunted by the image of demons in business suits and military uniforms.

Paper Mario Quest #4: Boobert's Return!

!N3H1GAVfnk ID:cJcILd+y No.1599400 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
<span class="mu-s">Welcome back to Paper Mario Quest!
This is a quest that takes place within the universe of Paper Mario, specifically the first two games, in a period of relative peace. You're not Mario, but if you play your cards right, you might end up as famous as the brothers. Collect the seven macguffins, hone your skills as the best at something, or just do sidequests all day - the choice is yours.

At the end of every update, I'll give you a few options to vote on, with a rough 10-20 minute period to vote. Most times you can write in your own options, but I'll veto it if it won't work or if it's too outlandish. Rolls, when asked for, will be done on a d20. You have three chances to succeed, one roll per person. Rolls are made after the voting period. Good luck and have fun!

Tribes Evo 2

ID:3NmK51IE No.1598510 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Welcome to Tribes Evo, a game where you take control of a tribe and evolve it culturally, technologically, and historically through time. We will have new tribes, a new map, and (some) new rules.

Previous Threads (please read if new):

New Players Guide:
>Every turn is a new week
>Every turn each tribe can do two researches, and as many actions as there are population
>Research - Laws, Technologies, Arts, Customs
>Action - Trading, Hunting, Scouting, Organizing
>At least one player per tribe, no upper limit on tribe members
>Actions and researches must be agreed by majority
> Please read sheet to verify 1) whether a tech/culture has already been researched and 2) whether OP fucked up in updating sheets

Other Mechanics:
> Combat (NPC) - one commander per tribe, RP your battle with given troops
> Culture - After exposure to other cultures, rolls can be made to determine how foreign cultures can affect your civilization's society
> Nationhood - Once a tribe reaches 1000+ population, they are eligible for nationhood. They will then need a constitution, flag, currency, formal military, and more than one town. The constitution MUST include established geographic borders, name of your state, and governing body.
> Economy (Only when a civ researches currency) - One a civ implements a tax, there will be a stream of income to your treasury. You will be able to purchase additional actions with this income. Too high a tax, however, will affect mood.
Other things:
> I am going to attempt to run this with no dice rolls whatsoever. Whatever you scout around you is what you get because of location, not chance.
> Regarding the map: Keep in mind, I tried to give enough space between civs without being totally separate. One tribe should reach another within one turn. I also wanted to introduce diversity in biomes. Hence, as they say, 'suspend your disbelief'
> No team switching this time
> Not going to add new tribes, these four are it
> Throw on a name if you’re playing
> Discord not required unless you are warring. No secret turns.

Monster Quest #2: You Monster....

ID:q3PyMEot No.1601929 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Last time On Monster Quest:

Zeldren the wisp managed to escape the crypt that had been his home for so long, and round up in the hands of a small girl named Elizabeth. Using the girl as a method of moving around, Zeldren slowly began to grow in knowledge in power over a month.

Feeling up to the task, and curious of a near by God's grave, Zeldren used a compulsion spell to have Elizabeth convince her friends to go on a quest to the site. WHile there though, Zeldren came face to face with the necromancer who had owned the crypt they had started from.

Seeking to save the investment they had mad ein Elizabeth, and possibly to save the girl for emotional reasons, Zeldren made a deal with the Necromancer: He would use the death of Elizabeth's friends and the girl's altered memories to start a war between the local village and a nearby goblin village that has been harassing them.

He has three days before the necromancer gets bored, and only the gods know what she'll do to Zeldren when that happens.

Dungeon Civ Turn 6

!8BWlDvw78w ID:lBuiH/rt No.1597442 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Dungeon Civ takes place inside a stereotypical RPG Dungeon.

SUMMARY: You are a race of Slimes living on the 55th floor of the Dungeon. Floor 55 is a Ruined City which grants defensive bonuses. The most recent Dungeon God has granted all the creatures on your Floor sentience and the ability to grow beyond their initial parameters. You were a mid level boss named Kulnarth (the all consuming) a Royal Slime. Now you are a full fledged
Hero in your own right. You've made powerful enemies including both the Floor Boss, a Demon by the name Eviscorax, and Adventurers bent on destroying you for being a monster.

RECAP: Both the supporting zones of the royal castle had been swept clean of opposition, but the Castle itself is protected by an enormously powerful magic barrier that prevents your forces from advancing. As if that weren't trouble enough, the powerful witch Selendra has captured the former Armory for her own ends. Ash has been trapped inside the newly formed Zone with no apparent way out. You Machine ally Woolsworth has completed a device to drain the power behind the magic barrier and allow you to finish our conquest of this Floor.
